Dan Loiacono has over 25 years of experience in business management, strategy, and transaction execution. He has been involved with advising clients on over 200 completed business transactions, and is currently the managing partner of DLA-Business Performance Advisors.
Founded in 2009, DLA is an advisory firm helping business owners prepare for a transition of ownership through defining and executing an exit strategy or growing through acquisition.
Dan is an adjunct professor at UMKC teaching real estate/entrepreneurship in undergraduate and masters programs. Dan is an instructor for the Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) International organization, writing and delivering courses on business strategy. He is also a respected speaker for various organizations including the Kaufman Foundation, local chambers and regional small business development groups.
Dan earned an undergraduate degree in Marketing and completed the Executive MBA program at Rockhurst University. He supports a number organizations including Global Orphan Project, Operation Breakthrough, Integrity Resource, and The National Center for Fathering.
Dan lives in the Kansas City area and has been married to his lovely wife, Sheri, for 30 years. They have two wonderful children.
