A Vision for the D. L. Moody Center

Join us as we honor the legacy of D. L. Moody by curating the D. L. Moody Digital Archives, preserving the Northfield campus, developing a museum, welcoming group tours and hosting events.

President’s Welcome Message

Welcome all friends, donors and partners of the Moody Center!

The D. L. Moody Center has experienced an exciting rebirth in the past year. We are committed to preserving the legacy of D.L. Moody and honoring the culture, heritage and traditions that make Northfield special — and the D. L. Moody Center continues to evolve.

An important part of our work is re-introducing D. L. Moody the man, as well as his innovative and entrepreneurial approach to ministry, to this 21st century body of believers. Our mission is clear: To continue the work of D. L. Moody in creative evangelism and discipleship.

Our Vision

D. L. Moody Center at Northfield

The master plan for the revitalization of the D. L. Moody Center at Northfield is a dream come true for many local residents. The D. L. Moody Center takes great pride in being entrusted with the estate of D. L. Moody and the Northfield campus. The plans for revitalization are not to erase the rich history of the estate, but to preserve it while bringing the estate into the 21st century.

The D. L. Moody Center plans to introduce a new lodge and conference center, the D. L. Moody Museum, a state-of-the-art RV and outdoor recreation space and an active living community of homes. We are still finalizing designs and early models. However, we can’t wait to allow the Northfield residents and guests to enjoy the fruits of our labor. We desire the D. L. Moody Center to be an epicenter of ministry education, innovation and recreation and a retreat for the mind, body and spirit.

It’s an exciting time to be a part of the D. L. Moody Center. We look forward to sharing more about these projects as they develop. Thank you for being a friend of the D. L. Moody Center, and we appreciate your continued prayers and support as we forge ahead.
